A New Roof and Buildings Compliance When Selling your Home?

Did you know that if you don’t have a Buildings Compliance Certificate and have installed a new roof you may find it difficult to sell your property in the future?

Most people of heard of ‘FENSA’ when replacing their double-glazing, but did you know that if you are planning to replace more than 50% of your roof covering you are legally obliged to obtain a Building Regulations Compliance Certificate (BRCC) from your local authority Building Control?

But TRG The Roof Group completely removes this problem for you!

Unlike the vast majority of roofing firms TRG The Roof Group are approved to self-certify our work by the planning inspectorate through the NFRC CPS scheme.

This means that when we replace your roof covering you will receive a Buildings Regulations Compliance Certificate to keep in a safe place for use if you ever move house in the future.

Trust TRG – The Roof Group to make everything a lot easier!

The Roof Group Gain Health and Safety Accreditation

TRG – The Roof Group are pleased to announce that we have gained CHAS Health and Safety accreditation and certification for the third year running. During the assessment process TRG – The Roof Group demonstrated compliance with the CHAS standards in line with SSIP Core Criteria and UK Health and Safety Legislation and have been awarded accreditation to the requirements of the Construction (Design Management) Regulations 2015.

After an extensive accreditation process we can today announce that we are CHAS accredited.

This means that all of our customers can now be assured that our construction health safety including our general operations, incorporating our risk assessments and method statements, and our employee welfare processes and procedures have been fully and independently assessed in line with nationally recognised standards for ongoing compliance and meet all of the required criteria for construction industry health and safety certification.

Aaron Mansfield – TRG The Roof Group Director of Operations commented;

“The assessment process supported by our CHAS assessor was comprehensive investigation into the actual way we assure our health and safety. I would like to thank all of our team and the CHAS assessor for the hard work put in to embed all of the operating processes and procedures into our operations for now and the future”.
